Alzheimers Association Florida Gulf Coast Chapter
Robyn Liska has served as the Vice President, Development, for the Alzheimer's Association Florida Gulf Coast Chapter since June, 2017. She is comprehensively responsible for the oversight and direction of all Chapter Development activities including community outreach and awareness, fund development programs through signature events Walk To End Alzheimer's, The Longest Day, Reason To Hope, multiple third party relationship events, and daily strategic planning to fulfill the Chapter's development and overall mission statement.
Robyn comes to the Alzheimer's Association and to Florida with 8 years of non-profit development management expertise. Before joining the Alzheimer's Association, Robyn served as the Senior Representative, Community Engagement, for the American Cancer Society, South Nature Coast, FL. Her success with the America Cancer Society, earned her multiple promotions and recognition leading to being sought out by the Alzheimer's Association to drive income development and grow staff and volunteer support throughout 17 Counties in the Gulf Coast of Florida.
Prior to her work with ACS, Robyn was a Corporate Executive with the Estee Lauder, Inc. Southwest territories, training and educating both regional and national Makeup Artists and sales teams.
Robyn has served on multiple local and statewide nonprofit boards, councils, and planning committees as a volunteer.
Robyn's goal is building an Alzheimer's development organization that can serve the needs of the persons living with Alzheimer's disease and their caregiver's in the Gulf Coast Region and to prepare for the unprecedented new cases that will face our community over the next decade.
The Alzheimer's Association Florida Gulf Coast Chapter provides support systems to people living with Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder and their caregivers through patient & family services, education, advocacy and research.
The Chapter provides services through 8 regional offices and the nation's only Alzheimer's mobile office the Memory Mobile to a 17 County region including Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota and Sumter. Every 66 seconds some in the United States develops Alzheimer's and more than 5 Million Americans are living with the disease nationwide.
