Annual Blessing of the Animals
We bless animals on this day in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, blessed saint of the Church, who lived in Italy in the 12th century. Bring your pets, service animals, police dogs, horses—you name it! Let us bless God’s creatures and give thanks for our friends who bring us so much happiness and for what they mean to us. Animals will be blessed individually by name. Co-sponsored by Four Leaf CrossFit and Maxx & Me Pet Rescue. Adopt a friend and have them blessed!
This is an outdoor event. Masks required for the humans during the close contact of the individual blessings. Please note that the location is NOT at the church; we will gather at Four Leaf CrossFit at 30534 SR 54E, Wesley Chapel.
