Suicide Prevention Training Institute's Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Workshop
The Suicide Prevention Training Institute is pleased to announce its next Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Workshop.
Participants will learn to become advocates for suicide prevention, identify the risk factors for suicide, and equip themselves with effective intervention skills. Upon completion of the course participants will receive a certificate of training and can apply for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
A $50.00 deposit will be collected during registration on Eventbrite. The deposit will be refunded to attendees on the first day of the Workshop. Registered individuals who do not attend the Workshop or cancel in advance will not receive a refund.
The Suicide Prevention Training Institute has partnered with Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center to offer CEUs for ASIST participation at no cost to the participant.
