Safe Sitter® With CPR Course at St. Joseph's Hospital-North
St. Joseph's Hospital-North is hosting a Safe Sitter® with CPR babysitting class to help adolescents learn the responsibilities of a babysitter. The in-person, one-day class, will be held Tuesday, June 2, 9am to 4pm in a hospital classroom, 4211 Van Dyke Road, Lutz. The course is for ages 11 and up.

Childcare skills

Appropriate behaviors, activities and entertainment for children of all ages

Safety concerns, injury prevention, emergency situations, non-certifying CPR training and infant/child choking rescue
The class also includes how prospective babysitters can market their service, interview well before parents and determine an hourly rate.
The class is through St. Joseph's Hospital-North's partnership with Tampa's St. Joseph's Children's Hospital and the BayCare Kids Wellness and Safety Center.
