Montessori Casa Dei Bambini- Celebrates Gasparilla

The Montessori Casa Dei Bambini (a Montessori preschool in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area) celebrates Gasparilla in a South Tampa fashion. The children of the Montessori Casa Dei Bambini will learn about the history of the Gasparilla celebration in Tampa and the myth of Jose Gaspar. The school will also be visited by members of the Krewe of Fort Brooke and The Krewe of Sea Save Yours. They will learn about the history and symbolism of each Krewe. The children will collect beads and “booty” as the Krewes invade the school.
