She began her career with the Department of Labor as a Wage Hour Investigator Tampa DO in 1997. As an investigator\, she enforced a variety of Acts that included MSPA (Agriculture)\, Child Labor\, Government Contracts\, Fair Labor Standards\, Family Medical Leave\, and the H program wage requirements for guest worker visas. \n\n\n\nShe has been involved in several successful litigation cases playing key role in its favorable outcome for the US Department of Labor.  She has been awarded several Secretary Honor Award and Secretary Exceptional Achievement Award for her work. In addition\, she has received numerous Exemplary Performance reviews and serves as a trainer for the new investigator hires.\n\nCurrently\, she is the Community Outreach and Planning Specialist for the Wage and Hour Division of the US Department of Labor and travels throughout Central Florida providing federal labor law training as well as acquiring information on non-compliant industries for the planning of directed investigations.
