But this gift is almost overwhelmed by the challenge of her daily life in a tough\, Chicago neighborhood. Akeelah's aptitude earns her a spot in the National Spelling Bee\, which inspires the people in her neighborhood with her courage and tenacity\n\nAll performances are at Uptown Stage at the University Mall\, 2200 East Fowler Ave\, Tampa\, FL 33612.\n\nDirections to Uptown Stage: Once on the campus of the University Mall\, park in front of the K&G Fashions main mall entrance. Enter the mall through the entrance between K&G Fashions and Famous Footwear. Turn right at the children's play space inside the mall.
